Dr Cathy Lennox
Owner & General Practitioner
Dr Cathy Lennox is the Principal and Founder of The Hub. She moved to Australia in 1999, after completing her undergraduate medical training in South Africa in 1996. She undertook a surgical position in Mackay, where she developed an interest and love of skin cancer surgery.
She moved to Tamworth in 2001, where she married her husband and worked as a Senior House Officer in the Emergency Department of Tamworth Base Hospital. She and her husband have 2 sons and have enjoyed living on the Gold Coast since 2007.
Dr Cathy completed her Fellowship of General Practice in 2011 and has worked in various locations on the Coast since then.
She completed extensive training in Women’s health and has an interest in sexual health, contraception and IUD insertion and removal.
She is trained in cosmetic injectables and has a special interest in the area of minor cosmetic procedures. During her free time, she enjoys swimming, walking and days spent out and about with her family.

Dr Leigh-Anne Bingham
General Practitioner
Dr Leigh-Anne Bingham joined the Hub in 2023 after moving to the Gold Coast with her family and has been working in general practice since 2012.
She completed her undergraduate medical training in Cape Town, South Africa in 2006. She initially worked in emergency medicine in Newcastle, then Melbourne and completed her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Newcastle NSW.
Dr Leigh worked as a GP in Port Stephens, NSW from 2012 - 2022 and completed her GP fellowship in 2021 after completing her family.
She has a particular interest in pregnancy care, postnatal care, contraception and fertility management and she enjoys all aspects of general practice including paediatrics, preventative medicine and chronic disease management.
When she is not at the Hub, Dr Leigh also enjoys dance, music, nature and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr Cecile le Roux
Psychologist
Dr Cecile le Roux is passionate about people’s mental and emotional wellness! She completed her Ph.D. in psychology through The University of Sydney where she researched personal transformation after trauma. Before that, she completed her M.Sc. and B.A.(Hons.) psychology degrees in Canada. She worked in psychology roles since 2000 and has been registered as a psychologist in Australia since 2007. Dr Cecile worked in private practices, medical clinics, community centres, and corporate psychology settings. She also taught at The University of Sydney and other higher education institutions.
In supporting her clients, she focuses on their strengths and unique situations, and helps them make sense of life’s complexities that interfere with their ability to live with hope and committed to their values. With specialised training in adult development, her expertise includes women’s mental health and wellbeing, change and transition, post-traumatic growth, and managing stress and burnout.
Outside work, you will find her on the beach or sports field with her husband and two boys, or learning about the latest approach to help people grow and flourish!

Nia
Registered Nurse
Our Registered Nurse, Nia, was born in Wales, speaking only her native tongue until she entered High School. Nia completed a Bachelor of Nursing in Wales, before moving to Northern Ireland, where she married her husband, Glenn. They have 3 children.
Nia has worked in a variety of hospital wards, including general medical, surgical, rehab and orthopaedics, until emigrating to Australia in 2008.
She has been working as a Registered Nurse in General Practice since 2009. Nia was at Hinterland Medical Centre until she joined The Hub in January 2015. She loves travelling, walking and spending time with her family.
Cherie
Registered Nurse
Cherie is a Registered Nurse and Midwife. She graduated in 1998, and in 2010 she also became a qualified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant IBCLC. She has worked in several locations around Australia, working in a variety of hospital settings and roles.
She has enjoyed living on the Gold Coast for 10 years with her family. She has 4 sons, 2 who are now young adults and 2 teens.
Cherie loves music, singing, and playing guitar, hiking and spending time with family and friends.

Myra
Dermalogica Expert Beauty Therapist
Myra has been with us at The Hub since 2015. She absolutely loves pampering people and has been a beauty therapist for 25 years!
She did her training in the UK and has covered face and body treatments with Clarins, Elemis, Arbonne and Dermalogica. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and extended family.

Olivia
Office Manager
Olivia came to us from a local radiology company and before that worked at a Private Hospital.
Originally from Newcastle, she made the move to the Gold Coast in 2014 and has never looked back.
Olivia enjoys spending her weekends going to the beach, hiking and spending quality time with her husband and 2 young boys. She also enjoys camping and reading books.

Wendy
Receptionist
Wendy has worked in General Practice for over 5 years and thoroughly enjoys supporting patient care.
She moved to the Gold Coast from Victoria with her family in 2011. Wendy has a son and a daughter and loves spending time with her family and 2 dogs. The beach is her favourite place to relax and she enjoys camping with her husband.

Nina
Receptionist
After moving to the Gold Coast from England in 2018, Nina has been enjoying studying, and is currently enrolled in her Masters of Osteopathy.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog on the beach, and enjoying the Australian weather!
