We are an appointment-based practice but usually have limited availability for emergencies on the day.
Consultations are billed according to length of time and complexity of the appointment which vary from:

Short appointments        (Less than 5 minutes)

Standard appointments  (6-15 minutes)

Long appointments         (16-30 minutes)

Extra long appointments(30-60 minutes)

Hour long appointments (60+ minutes)

Please refer to our schedule of fees for more information.

When making a booking, if you have an idea of how long you may need, please book your time accordingly.

This allows our doctors to run on time. If additional family members need to be seen at the same time as your appointment, it is beneficial to reception staff that you please inform them and that they can acknowledge that we have availability.

While we endeavour to run on time, owing to the nature of health care, we cannot guarantee that you will always be seen at your booked time. Should you find that you are running late and are able to advise reception, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, we require 3 business hours' notice to allow for this time to be used by someone else. Cancel fees apply for late cancellations and no shows.

These will require a short consultation, unless there are further medical needs that require attention. If this is the case, a longer appointment may be necessary. Please ensure that you alert the receptionist to the length of time you require.

We ask that patients ring us approximately 48 hours after undergoing any testing to ascertain whether we have received the results. Doctors review results each morning and will leave a comment to determine the need for a follow up. Most results that are needing to be discussed further will require an appointment with the doctor. Our doctors do not discuss results over the phone.
