CANCELLATION POLICY

 

 

Owing to many late arrivals, late cancellations, and no shows, we have implemented a medical appointment cancellation policy.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and you may need to cancel your appointment. Should this occur, we respectfully request that you advise us of your cancellation with a minimum of 3 business hours’ notice. This provides us with the opportunity to offer your appointment to another patient who may need to see a doctor.

Our doctors are committed to being available for your needs and the needs of all our patients. When a patient does not arrive for their appointment or cancels without sufficient notice, another patient loses the opportunity to be seen.

 

There is a fee of $30 if you cancel within 3 hours of your appointment time or if you do not attend your appointment. This fee is to be paid prior to making your next booking with your Doctor. Please note, cancellation fees are not claimable through Medicare or any health funds.

We would also appreciate you phoning to advise if you are running late for your appointment.
