Desk with Stethoscope

We are an appointment-based practice. All psychology appointments are 50 minutes in length with the psychologist.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill out any forms that are neededShould you find that you are running late and are able to advise reception, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we require 48 business hours' notice to allow for this time to be used by someone else. Cancel fees apply for late cancellations and no shows.

Your GP will assess whether you are eligible for a Mental Health Care plan or a chronic disease Care Plan. If eligible you will need to bring a copy of your plan and referral letter to your first appointment with your Medicare card. Please refer to the fees page for rebates.

You will need to call your private health fund prior to your appointment to make sure you are covered and how much rebate you will receive.

Bring your health fund card to your appointment. Please note, you cannot claim Medicare and private health on the same appointment.

You do not need a referral from a GP or Psychiatrist to make an appointment. If you are self referring, you will not receive any rebates from Medicare.

Workers need to lodge a claim and receive a claim number prior to booking an appointment.

The psychologist can see NDIS patients who have a NDIS number and are either on a self-managed or plan managed plan.

All personal information gathered by the psychologist during the provision of the psychological service will remain confidential. There are 2 exceptions:

1. You are at risk of harming yourself or someone else

Your psychologist will discuss this with you should the exception occur.
