WAXING
Waxing Pre Care

DO NOT shave, thread or microblade the area for 3 weeks prior to treatment.

For optimum waxing results the hair should be at least 0.5cm long.

AVOID sun exposure prior to treatment.

AVOID powerful exfoliation prior to treatment. Light exfoliation can benefit results.

Make sure your skin is clean and product free.
Waxing Post Care

DO NOT expose waxed areas to sun for at least 24-48 hours as treated area will be prone to sun burn.

DO NOT exfoliate for 2-3 days post treatment.
-
AVOID strenuous exercise for 24 hours post treatment to avoid skin sensitivity.

Wear loose clothing post treatment to avoid skin irritation.
-
DO NOT shave between appointments as this can delay results and distort hair growth.

If you have been using another form of hair removal prior to waxing, it may take more than 1 treatment to achieve the desired result.
EYEBROW SHAPING
Eyebrow Shaping Pre Care

Where possible, arrive with clean brows.

Be clear on the look you want to achieve whilst remembering to embrace your natural shape.

AVOID sun exposure, peels, microdermabrasion, skin resurfacing treatments and exfoliating products for at least 24-48 hours prior to treatment.
Eyebrow Shaping Post Care

DO NOT exfoliate 2-3 days post treatment.

DO NOT sunbathe and avoid direct sun exposure for 24-48 hours post treatment as your skin will be sun sensitive.

AVOID swimming, salt water, strenuous exercise post treatment as these can increase skin sensitivity and risk of infection.

AVOID facial treatments post waxing as products can increase skin sensitivity and risk of infection.
EYEBROW & LASH TINT
Eyebrow & Lash Tint Pre Care
Lashes and brows are tinted with Henna or Tint & Peroxide, therefore a patch test is needed 24-48 hours prior to treatment. Patch tests are done onsite.

Ideally arrive make-up free.

Do not tint your own brows as other product ingredients can affect your professional tint results.

Be clear about your look and colour choice.
Eyebrow & Lash Tint Post Care

Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes post treatment.
-
Avoid all brow and lash contact post treatment by not using creams or eye makeup and limit facial cleansing.

DO NOT swim, sauna, steam or tan for 24 hours post treatment.
-
It may take more than 1 visit to achieve your desired result. Don't be tempted to take care of your brows between appointments because plucking at home could slow your result.
MANICURE
Manicure Pre Care

Allow time for your manicure and polish to dry. Care should be taken for up to 2 hours post treatment but in some cases it takes 24 hours to dry.

Come to appointment jewellery free. This ensures that your hands can be completely pampered and there is no risk of damaging polish by replacing jewellery.
Manicure Post Care

Wear protective gloves when doing housework and gardening.
-
Never use metal files as they can damage or cause trauma to the nail.
-
Avoid harsh products e.g. household chemicals and soaps
-
Regularly use hand cream and/or cuticle cream.
-
Use Acetone-free polish remover.
PEDICURE
Pedicure Pre Care
-
Wear open toe shoes or thongs.
Pedicure Post Care
-
Apply moisturiser / body lotion regularly to ensure smooth hydrated feet. Gentle exfoliation can be done prior to moisturiser to aid product penetration.

Dry feet thoroughly after swimming, showering or bathing.
-
Use acetone-free polish remover.
SHELLAC POLISH
Shellac Pre Care
-
Wear gloves while using cleaning products, gardening and any other rough procedures.
-
Filing is not advised as the Shellac polish seals the free edge of the nail.
-
Be careful when using Sun Creams, Self Tanning products and cuticle products, as some of these products could damage the Shellac.
-
When swimming, beware that chlorine can affect the Shellac especially if adding sun exposure.
Shellac Post Care
-
Shellac polish will need to be professionally removed after 14 days. It is not advised you remove it at home as you may risk damaging your nails.
-
DO NOT 'pick off' your Shellac as this will cause nail trauma, and may result in permanent nail damage or a weakened nail growth.
