ALL PATIENTS VISITING THE HUB:
You are still required to wear a mask.
If you are not fully vaccinated at the time of your appointment you will need to call from your car on arrival.
We do ask that you only arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time, to avoid unnecessary congestion within the waiting area.
Upon entry please use the antiseptic alcohol foam provided.
Please try and keep some space between yourself and others. Touch as little as possible.
The patient/client and one carer/parent is preferred at a time to limit the number of people in the practice. Please encourage other family members to wait outside the practice if possible.
We will NOT be eligible to offer our patients the Covid-19 vaccine from here.
To check if you can receive your Covid-19 vaccine yet and to see nearby locations where you can have the vaccine please complete the online eligibility checker by following this link https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility
ASTHMA & LUNG DISEASES:
Patients with asthma or lung diseases should be reviewed regularly and have a plan in place to optimise lung health.
We encourage patients to have a sensible supply of prescription medications to get you through 2-3 weeks in case you are required to self-isolate. We cannot guarantee that our Doctors will be available to write prescriptions at short notice if you have run out. It is your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient supply of ALL medications and to book a follow up appointment for your next script renewal.
PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE AND INFECTION CONTROL:
Regularly wash your hands and avoid touching your face, eyes, mouth and nose, particularly when in public spaces.
BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATIONS:
It is very important that you do not change or stop taking your current blood pressure medications. In fact, it is more dangerous for you to stop them. Ensure to seek medical attention by booking a consultation with your regular GP as soon as possible to discuss future medications and safety precautions.
